My Strengths

I would describe myself as a straightforward person with good judgement, great endurance and a passion for learning. In the consulting context, I look for challenges to analyse proactive complex issues and facts to develop sustainable and realisable solutions together with and for our clients. As Executive and Leadership Coach I am empathic, interested and listen actively. I leave ‘leadership’ to my coachees ( ), take myself out and give neutral and non-evaluating feedback.

Management Experience

Directly after my studies in IT/Business informatics, in the middle of the dotcom bubble in 1999, I started working for Infomatec AG, Augsburg (GER) as Manager of Corporate Development, the then-‘TecDax Highflyer’ and ‘industry leader’. Promptly, I had to learn that businesses without comprehensive management know-how have only a very short lifespan. My next step brought me to DataDesign AG in the same position, similarly a then-‘TecDax key player’ based in Munich (GER). After five years of management experience, with leadership and managerial responsibility working directly for the executive boards, I decided to become self-employed.

Roether | Huwald GbR

In 2003 Marion Huwald and I founded Roether | Huwald GbR. The synergy effects resulting from our collaboration were quite beneficial for our clients. Since then, we have competently and professionally consulted and attended our clients, for example CrossRail AG (CH), Degussa AG (DE), Maxion Wheels (DE), W.E.T. Automotive Systems AG (DE), Hi-Systems GmbH (AT), Lean Alliance GmbH (DE), Lean Alliance Inc. (USA), Lean Alliance PTE., Ltd (Singapore, Asia), Ukimedia GmbH (DE).

Studies

With my Executive MBA studies at the renowned Henley Business School (UK, top 30 ranking), I deepened my general management know-how and further developed myself personally and professionally.


After several years working as management and strategy consultant with executives, senior managers and business owners ( ) I learned that the biggest share of my work dealt with the people involved and only in second instance with the company. This insight brought me to ‘Coaching’. In 2010 we started offering Executive and Leadership Coaching as the third service area. Since coaching was at that time more than under-researched, I decided to pursue a doctorate degree (Doctor of Business Administration, DBA) at the Henley Business School (UK) – Henley is one of the few business schools that have a triple accreditation for their DBA program (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS). The doctoral thesis in 2015 was the basis for our R|H Coaching Modell, which is comprehensive and unique in the executive coaching context.
